If you always wanted to make a doll, this is your chance.  All the basic techniques of doll making are taught.  Correct method to transfer a paper pattern to fabric, stitching and stuffing the dol.  Stitching the different limbs together, easy methods to make small doll clothes and attach hair.

Fabric:

Tilda doll fabric:  54cm x30cm

Swim suit:  36cm x 57cm

Pants:  54cm x 23cm

Towel:  36cm x 17cm

Towel:  18cm x 17cm

Wool yarn for the hair approximately 14m

Requirements:

Sewing  machine, ¼” presser foot and a new sewing Universal  #80/12 needle

Body coloured thread and bobbin full

Wood sosatie skewer, wood or bamboo Chinese chop stick

Card board (breakfast cereal box)

Bostik Clear glue

HB pencil or blue fabric marker pen

Paper and fabric scissors

Pins and usual needlework notions

Wadding

Electric cord, double plug and two points plug if your machine requires it

Sewing needle for hand sewing and a large sharp point big eye needle for yarn Chenille Nr 22
